When it comes to making healthcare decisions, we, as women, make 80% of the choices on behalf of our families. Today we need you, along with women across the state, to make a decision to ensure all young people in Wisconsin have access to life saving mental health care.

NAMI Wisconsin has developed exciting plans to launch the Raise Your Voice program that will empower teens and young adults create a NEW conversation about mental health.

Raise Your Voice is designed specifically for Wisconsin youth that aims to end the stigma around mental illness by providing young adults the tools necessary to start a new conversation through peer support and education, leadership development and civic advocacy.

The model program will begin in Madison then be available in communities across the state in time for the 2017-2018 school year.   Learn More about Raise Your Voice

We are seeking 100 Women who will donate $100 to pay for the Raise Your Voice materials.

Every woman will be recognized on our website, in our newsletter and in program materials.

  • 1 in 5 youth ages 14-24 are living with a serious mental illness. Due to the lack of mental health support and education that is provided for youth and their families, half of these students with mental illness drop out of school, end up in our juvenile justice system or die by suicide.
